Open Little Fortune and tap “Open my fortune”. Your cookie reveals a short message and three lucky numbers.

1. Open Little Fortune at least once.
2. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen.
3. Tap Edit, then Add Widget, or tap the + button on older iOS versions.
4. Search for Little Fortune, choose a size, and tap Add Widget.

Fortunes follow your device’s local time: morning (5–11 a.m.), afternoon (11 a.m.–5 p.m.), evening (5–10 p.m.), and night (10 p.m.–5 a.m.). Your message stays the same within each period. iOS controls widget refresh timing, so updates may not appear immediately.

Open the app once, then check the widget gallery again. If a widget is still out of date, remove it from the Home Screen and add it again. Also check that your device date and time are correct.

After opening your cookie, tap “Share this fortune” and choose an app or recipient in the iOS share sheet. Nothing is shared until you choose to share it.

No. Fortunes are included with the app, and opening a cookie works offline. The app is free and has no subscriptions. Apps you choose for sharing may need an internet connection.

Little Fortune supports iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
